SUMMARY:June Club events, and such!
DESCRIPTION:June 26th! We have a big trip planned of which is weather permitting.Free flight Aviation based at the Flying W Airport, and our club have agreed to team up for a joint trip to Tangier Island VA. Our club has had its best outings in Tangier! Our departure time is 10am, and we will look to spend the day with folks that look to be extended friends with us pilots!    Our future pro Pilot Jeremy, is having a birthday being hosted by his dad Tuesday June 21st at N87! Party time is late in the afternoon around 5ish. (Check ride is that day too)    Meeting is also on the 17th at 7pm over at Airmods. Any topic  to hat about will provide a livleyness in our crowd alongwith food, and drinks! See everyone soon! SUMMARY:Mercer Flying Club, springs into May!
DESCRIPTION:Good morning members!  May has sprung! I hope you hearty Airmen are keeping your wings level. This month, is national 'Learn to fly month'. Take someone up flying that has never been in a small aircraft before, and most importantly, make them join MFC!  On May 7th, LNS is having a Ralley, and so is Queen City Airport of which both are located in PA. Thier is also an open house occuring at MT. Pocono Airport at the end of the month. Maybe we can make a trip out of that event? Just an idea. At anyrate, our meeting is on the 20th at 7pm over at Airmods. Thats your listing of May events. I

DESCRIPTION:  Good evening Friends. (Similar post will be going on www.mercerflyingclub.com)         I am very sorry once again that the ACY trip got canceled. Mother nature certainly is a bitch, isn't she??? Your admiral hasn't event had a chance today to contact the tour guide for alternative dates!! Here is whats in store this month. Our meeting is going to on an unusual date this month. We will meet this month on the 22nd. Its a Friday, and technically past the third week of this month. However, we have a confirmed special guest who is well known to this area.         Good seal CFII, ATP, FAST rep, and SAFE rep Brian Robbins will be venturing out to N87 to speak about his position with these organizations, and what they entail. Brian checked me out in Mikes Tomahawk last winter, and found him to someone worth while approaching, and inviting to one of our functions. I saw that some of us are interested in attending 'Top Gun on Imax'. How about a group hangout night of one of the listings Tony posted? -Dave.

SUMMARY:MFC is heading to ACY tech center!
DESCRIPTION:On April 8th! Our club will be making its way to the Atlantic City International Airport tech center. The facility is an FAA run facility, and we will see how FAA tests nav aids, saftey items, and things of that sort. We have a time slot of 11am. For those attending, leave your departure point at 9amsh. So far, we have a small group confirmed to go. Anyone is welcome to attend! We will park at Mid Atlantic Jet Center, and hitch a ride va van to the facility. Its about 1.7 flight time total for this trip, and

SUMMARY:Breakfest at KMIV with EAA Chapter 176!
DESCRIPTION:For those that missed the meeting last Friday, our main discussion was actully 'finding something to do' this month interms of a group trip. Mike noted that the local EAA Chapter based at TTN(176) Is heading to KMIV this weekend for breakfest. Since we have been wanting to conduct a 'combo' outing for years, we felt the time has come! Alternate event should a TFR be a factor, or if EAA cancels, is Mikes mystery trip we havent flown yet. If interested in going, hear is who is all attending so far.    Dave ,and possibly Mike- Tomahawk N2426F    Bill Prinz, and possibly Critter if going on Sunday- One of N87S Warriors, or Archers    Steve Richardson, and Phil Abrams in one of the Warriors. SUMMARY:MFC February Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Good evening Friends,         Just reporting in to go over this months events. The cold has kept us from wanting to fly last month. The temperature has been so brutal that we even opted to  place last months fly out weekend in a holding pattern!!  However, that hasn't kept us hearty airmen from wanting to at least enjoy some meeting time at the airport and, to discuss places to go when it gets nicer out. Last months meeting had a good crowd, and we will hope this one will entail one as well. Maybe the end of this month will hold a favorable weekend to host a flyout?? We shall wait and see!! Feb 18th is the date for this months meeting. The only two things we didn't touch upon, was finalizing places to go for this year, and advertisements for the club. Brainstorm those ideas prior to attending the meeting, and being their are two advertisements drafted, (fl yer, and brochures) lets make sure to give all critique possible so we know what changes are needed necessary to attract steady memberships.
